Current Version

The latest update to OA LodgeMaster Desktop, version 1.1.3, was released May 15, 2008. It fixes two small bugs in the previous version which were reported by users. The last major release was version 1.1.0, which added a number of new features, including:

  • a new database engine
  • full multi-user security
  • Windows Vista support
  • improved install process

We're currently working to migrate the many lodges that continue to request the use of OA LodgeMaster. As we work through the list of lodges who have signed up, our team will contact each lodge and request a copy of their current data. Expected turn-around time is 2 to 4 weeks.

Why Switch to OA LodgeMaster?

You might be asking yourself, "Why should my lodge switch to OA LodgeMaster?" Here are a few reasons that might help.

  1. It's a good membership management tool.
    Membership management is OALM's primary function, and it excels in that capacity. It can track multitudes of information for each lodge member, contains over 100 reports, and allows for convenient import and export of data.
  2. It's the best management software out there.
    Many lodges have created software to help with lodge management, but none of them are as comprehensive or as developed as OA LodgeMaster.
  3. Stay in sync.
    OALM allows for multiple users, operating anywhere, to work with their lodge data and then synchronize with other users automatically. This also allows users to take a laptop with OALM to a place without an Internet connection (like at a camp for an event), make changes to the database, and then return home and sync the data with everyone else in the lodge.

    LodgeMaster is designed to make certain parts of running a lodge much easier. For example, OALM can automatically print OA membership cards on national stock; can automatically print mailing labels that only print once per household (to save mailing costs); and the Quality Lodge Petition Wizard automatically calculates whether or not each requirement has been met and then prints the petition straight out of OALM.
